A little like this...? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...Hams-board-criticised-meeting-member-ICF.html https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/west-ham-fans-refuse-intimidated-12161894 Playing the victim now is more than a bit hollow and there's a large percentage of disgruntled, real fans who won't take kindly to it.
They did the same **** at Birmingham and then sold up to an even bigger crook. The club still hasn't recovered and he's in jail for money laundering.
I think that they got out of Birminham whilst City were still a PL club and got good money for it. Selling West Ham is a whole different ball of wax. They're subject to financial repayments on profits of sale, I think up to 10 years after becoming tenants, so an immediate sale is unlikely...particularly as they may have their beady eyes on becoming owners of the stadium at a significant undervalue. So, they'll want to hold onto it but it's hard to see how they can do that without becoming absentee owners or creating chaos in the stadium. They've managed to keep just ahead of the the angry locals for a decade. It's been a decent run but I can't see this ending well for anyone if it drags on for years....well, apart from us of course...
Let's not forget that the longer it drags on, the more likely it is that they would have to admit to being in cahoots with then-head of UK Athletics Seb Coe and then-Mayor of London Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson in a scheme to scam the British taxpayer if they want to avoid prison sentences...
There's one derplord in the chat for the Sessegnon vs Antonio match who keeps saying over and over how we can't pay for our stadium Really? A West Scam fan talking about other teams paying for stadiums? Really?
I've noticed a pattern to West Scam's remaining fixtures... H - Chelsea A - Newcastle H - Burnley A - Norwich H - Watford A - Man Utd
