From the BBC earlier.... ‘The Hammers hierarchy have been long-term admirers of Rafael Benitez, but he may choose to stay on at Newcastle, while former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini and outgoing Paris St-Germain coach Unai Emery have been linked with the role. Sullivan has also reportedly held talks with Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca.’ So that’s 4 names conclusively ruled out. Words fail..........
Fonseca has apparently ruled himself out already....... apparently in a letter to Les Messieurs Dildo, his lawyers are threatening legal action for defamation if they ever publicly link their client
The D1ldo bros have stiched me up !!! They *AIM* to appoint a "high-calibre figure" in the next 10 days (they didn't say they WILL) .
It just keeps getting better.... Joint chairman David Sullivan said the club had left "no stone unturned" in choosing the person they believe is the "right man to take West Ham forward". Well, that will fit in well with all other aspects of their scummy club. The owners and most fans have previously crawled out from under stones!! Rumours still seem to think they are getting Benitez or Pellegrino!! WTF would either of those think that taking that poisoned chalice would be a good career move??
James Collins...played for West Ham for 11 years over 2 spells...2005-09 and 2012-18. He played 212 games for them and scored 9 goals in all competitions. He is 4th highest in their Premier League appearance list with 188 appearances. He was a fans favourite. He was released this week at the age of 34 by EMAIL
Must be something in the name...... Didn't Phil Collins once divorce a wife by fax?? 'But, Seriously' (see the link? ) - that's a really appalling way to treat a fella who has devoted so much of his limited talent career to their cesspit of a club
It could be worse, the only reason they didn't release him by text was because nobody at the club knew his number...
The Standard are claiming that West Ham are going to pay seasoned [over the hill] international [Johnny Foreigner] manager, Manuel Pellegrini £10m a season, for 3 seasons to manage the circus..........I hope he's got a red tail coat, top hat and whip. He's gonna need that whip to get some running out of those players. "Dildo, Dildo."
Only asking for so little (10m) to go there ?? Pellegrini is obviously sold on the Spanners "project" . < this is a meaningful and valid point. dg >
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44226748 The gift that keeps on giving! Wall to wall, classic Dildo Brothers bullshit which seems to already have been seen through by the Spanners faithful.... Particularly of note, this section........ The club has typically spent between £35-45m in each of the last three summer windows on permanent signings but Gold says he is unable to state what this summer's expenditure will be. "You can't put a figure on it because you don't know which players are going to leave and that will add to the kitty," Gold told Talksport. "Manuel's working on it right now, that's why he's been brought in. "He's identified the positions he feels we need to strengthen, and it's up to him now to tell us the players and we'll do everything we can to bring them in." Seems somewhat fast, as he was only appointed yesterday, but it is West Ham so I suppose you start from a position that anyone in any position is likely to be an improvement!!
Goalkeeper..........Check Defenders............Check Midfield.................Check Forwards...............Check I can do that ****. Give us a job?
At £8m a year for 3 years, a snip!! Pellegrini must be pissing himself laughing all the way to his (very secure) offshore bank!
