Alan Pardew says he has no idea what prompted Jake Livermore to go after West Scam's charming fans last night.

The current theories are either the fans were chanting about Livermore's dead son, or the more obvious explanation that Livermore happens to have a different skin tone to the one West Scam fans like seeing players have.

If it was racism, I would expect Jake could handle it, the same with references to the cocaine ban. I'm sure that he's faced both a number of times and not responded.

Chanting about the death of a child would send any parent over the edge and I'd reckon that's the likely cause.

He got called a '****ing druggie Yid' according to people in the crowd. Is yid when used in the context of Trotterham anti-semetic? I don't think so. He reacted to something he didn't hear but, as usual since we moved into Seb Coe's waste of money stadium, that isn't being reported, instead it's his 'dead son', which gets him out of a ban.

has strong Jewish ancestry.

Does he have such ancestry ??


2. Your "context" rests on Livermore being a Tottenham player.

Is he currently a Spurs player (squad, on loan) ??

For you, who was not there to claim he reacted to "something he did not hear" is weird because...well... you were not there.

I have no idea what was or wasn't said but in my opinion calling him a druggie is disgraceful because he did this while trying to cope with the death of his son.
Maybe in his distress these two things are inseparable.
