    Buried on page 28 of today's Standard is a small article stating that the £40m loan Newham Council gave to West Scam United may never be repaid.

    Sadly they have an away match this weekend, so that story couldn't be juxtaposed with the usual full-page ad every home game gets...

    As their mayor proclaimed at the time, they spen
    the money for 30% of "that" ??

    It gets a little worse than dat...sorry, that - Newham Council are writing off £44.4m, in other words that means they're haven't received a penny of the interest either.

    I really should ask my sister to mention this to her local MP...who happens to be Leader of the Opposition.

    Mark Nobel in the standard has said Kane is worth a £100m and said it would be hard for us to keep him...bitter twat obviously not over Saturday...presumably he thinks the porno trio can get him by paying £8.53 a year for 100 years whil we pay his salary!

    In Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Smiley notes that whenever he has
    people on the rack or is not divulging info they seek, many respond
    with comments (directly or indirectly) regarding his wifes' infidelities.

    In a similar vein, the Spurs haters seem to go for comments on
    our players and their wages, "hard for Spurs to keep them" etc.
