<phew> thank the lord for that then! I can come out from behind my settee! I say that the pressure is most definitely on UNITED and has been since they lost to Wigan, yesterday was a testiment to that, they should not of lost 3 points to the likes of Wigan, and should not of scored 4 home goals and end up with 1 point for it! the pressure is starting to show, so young Daffy Butt I hope you are correct in your assumption otherwise it's going to be a long time for me behind the settee!
Still infuriates me that when we were 4-2 up, we should have shut up shop but appeared that Fergie wanted the team to carry on in the same manner and get a few more goals so that the goal difference would be closer to City's but that cost us yesterday and allowed Everton back into the game.
, i remember this time last year when we lost toi Arsenal, people were saying we would bottle it, but we proved them wrong and won the league for the 19th time.
but this time it's not a case of bottling it; more of there's a 50/50 chance that we lose to our main rival to win the prem next monday at their lovely ground!
Us losing our lead yesterday was nothing to do with pressure. It was everything to do with slap dash defending and lack of concentration. They way they played was totally without any pressure, best attacking display for weeks. NOW the pressure is back on though and it's entirely self inflicted.
I happen to think mancinis own mind games have worked, by making out they have conceded the title, we have since played like we had already won it and our concentration levels have slipped..
Nah, I'm not buying that. Fergie won't let them fall for it, i just think we have one or two who let their concentration slip. Rafael must not play in the Derby, it has to be Smalling at right back. I would also play Giggs instead of Wellbeck and have a tighter midfield. Not too much to change but both important.
I can't see where this faith with Rafael, or his bruv, comes from. As you say Smalling is a far better option, And Giggs will provide much needed experience along with the Giger One . Just hope he keeps his head together and we should be ready. What the outcome will be on Monday only a fool would try to predict, based on the last couple of months results.
Smalling Not the first time he was caught ball watching this season either, great talent but he has serious lapses in concentration, I've always backed this lad so am shocked this season with some really bad errors
I think Vidic being injured has given him more game time than expected and these errors may not of been as numerous.
