Only one pair of trainers worth putting on one’s feet ….

The one & only original blue suede Samba!

But it takes a certain calibre of man to successfully carry them off.

Yeah you can wash them, it makes mine look even more vintage. If I do say so myself, mine are rare and without any shadow the finest All Stars I've ever seen. Faded chocolate brown with burgundy piping, they ****ing rock.

I like Sambas Tunns, don't get me wrong, and I do like my Bambas of last year but I'm looking for something a bit basic and special this year.

Has to be the Kick, now just need to decide on black stripes; http://shop.adidas.co.uk/product/SN304/G51306/Originals/Men's-Kick/detail.jsf

    or blue;

    http://www.schuh.co.uk/mens-white-and-blue-adidas-kick/3402253120/

I'm thinking black. They also do all brown but I'm not too sure, think I want box fresh white.

Can't get into those links because of the work's firewall.

"Kick" love the classics Chops , as you know.

I also have a grey pair of Gazelle with Kharki Stripes, limited edition, which are nice but I rarely wear them.

What I love to get is an actual pair of blue "00/81 Jogger, a sort of cross between Gazelle & Samba, very rare and very difficult to get hold of, I've been trying for years now.

My Girlfriend picked a pair of original Forest Hills from Camden a few yaers back and has never worn them, I think you just bought to wind me up.

Of course I've heard of him - he's a fellow thesp! His portrayal of Hamlet at the Old Vic in '98 was something to behold...

Oh, hang on. No. Sorry Tags. I've been having a heated debate about white dog tat, Tags. You've started something here lad. I happened to mention it on Saturday when we were talking about all things nostalgia and then I got assaulted on FB last night from one of the women who was present when I mentioned it was because of the chalk in their food. She obviously mis-heard what I was saying and had a go last night. I couldn't go off on one as I normally would, though. She's the head teacher at my daughters' school.

Anyway, I need a holiday. 6 more weeks of this and I've got to write nearly 200 report comments in the 10 days. I wouldn't mind if I was actually a teacher - or got paid anywhere near what teachers get. I didn't sign on for this...

He's a miserable ****ing git, that much I know. As funny as a dose of piles.

He didn't crack a smile until they actually won the match, cantankerous old bugger. I take it all back though, I could be arsed. Lost on the last and am gutted.

Need some of this to cheer the soul.

Not sure it'd go so well with rosemary, that's your more red meat type herb. I was thinking a bit of Tarragon in a creamy sauce would be just the ticket.
    Perhaps on tagliatelle.

All gone quiet on the transfers... We were being linked with ozil again today.. Don't want him.. Unless he is cheap.. Would rather nasri .. But that's looking less likely now..

Well my physio was happy this morning with my development, so all things being equal you should see me with my pretty boat race signing autograpths for the admiring masses outside Carrington anytime soon!

It will be Tunnsmania I tell thee!

I don't want Nasri particularly - he says nothing to me about my life! Sjneider is staying where he is or he'll probably go to Chavski. Ozil? He's staying put as well, according to his agent. I dunno who we're going to get, but it needs to be someone world class. We still need a Keane replacement, but I can't think of anyone. Modric is good, but he's not going to dominate a midfield. We need power, aggression and box-to-box heroism.
