Got a reply from Robbie Fowler after a United ''fan'' mocked the 96 - https://twitter.com/carrick_fan/status/539090280964972544
This came up on the Chelsea board whilst their resident Jose lovers were pleasuring themselves frenetically over his unbeaten record: http://talksport.com/football/revea...beaten-runs-all-competitions-141112124135?p=4 Didn't realise until now that our Treble winning side has the second longest unbeaten run of any English side in all competitions. And no, the 2004 Premier league draw specialists don't have the longest, nor do they even make the top six.
We dont like to brag. We let our trophies piled on top of trophies do it for us. Treble + second longest unbeaten run ever? Not a problem
Can't find my log in for my KingEric07 account. I can't request an email as the account is registered to my old works email address. Don't suppose you know a way around it do you ?
Sir Slippy is set to retire at the end of the season so he can sit on a bench somewhere in America to catch some sun and a well earned rest. He will be sorely missed in Liverpools big games, who will the opposition look to now for a vital pass when they need a goal (perhaps Lovren or Can will step up). To be serious, he has been a great player and has made the right decision. If he stayed on as a player Rodgers would contiue to play him every game and ruin his memory.
I always thought he would take up a second career in cricket - I hear he is great in the slips - boom boom
