Sisu, once again showing how little knowledge of the game he has beyond his overriding bitterness and hatred of all things not-Liverpool from the 80's, launched into one about the Salford based scum (BBC) and Phil McNulty in particular. That would be Phil McNulty the Liverpool fan. No doubt he'll be going after Alan Green next!

He must have one sad existence as he is absolutely full to the brim with hate. Certainly not what he and many others bargained for when they fell in love with Terry McDermott's perm.

I suspect the venom they're spitting about Suarez's ban is partly fuelled by the fact that while their best player was showing the world he's a **** once again, their hated rivals were winning their 20th league title!

No sane individual would ever defend a player for biting!

Shame I missed it. He seemed to want to have a word with me. I think I may well have been banned last night had I been online when we started wishing cancer on me <ok>

Strange yesterday when they all called for bans for the Sunderland fan mentioning Hillsborough in a non derogititory way but allow someone to wish cancer on a footballer, all the footballers family, freinds and supporters. Strange that.

Just seen your post in the movie thread you bastard <grr>

He wasn't beaten to death - there was a fracas and in the aftermath he was run over by a car. Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time our friends in South east london rewrite the hstory books to suit themselves. They really are one of the most objectionable fan bases in the UK. I hope we batter them (on the ptich) if we have to face them in the play offs.

I thought that, he was allowed his say and I know if I'd have retorted it would have been me that was banned.

He had his say and he's got his thoughts so let him vent his spleen, it didn't occur to him that the provocation Cantona took was the actual cause of the incident though, therefore by one his very own fellow palace fans.
Nice man, axe to grind just like BBF so we ignore and move on.

He wasn't beaten to death by the way, he was hit by a coach running away.
Not that that makes it any better of course, still a dark day.

Appropriately enough the thread was closed as soon as BBF popped in!

I love how redman thought it hilarious and agreed. And it was all just kept on there.

No ban, or suggestion of it. No outrage.

I guess as the word Hillsborough wasn't used in any context at all it was ok.

I was darkly amused by his logic. So if I take offence at Suarez abusing Evra and decide to go out and knife a few Liverpool fans as a result, then that's all down to Suarez? I'll get my cleaver <ok>

Was almost tempted to respond to him but then I remembered.

BBF's unbelievable. As soon as he realises he wonlt win an argument on purely football grounds he starts throwing in arguments about knife murders, wife beating, and God knows what else. All rather ironic for a man who lives in dublin <doh>

Morning sweats - all well i hope. He'll fit in well there - when i went to Helsinki half the population seemed to be drunk at 9 in the morning. Also seemed to be an inordinate number of neo Nazis there so he'll feel at home.

The Liverpool fans have been pretty sound on all of this actually - which is why the reactions of the luntaic fringe have been so hilarious.

To be honest that was my problem with it. The bloke was a bit mental, not worth bothering with really, but I felt the lack of action for allowing such posts was wrong.

Had it been a Liverpool fan or player on the recieving end then there would have been all sorts of outrage.

I've no problem with the Liverpool mods, in fact I actually like the lads, but how they allowed those posts without warning him etc I don't know.

To be fair to the Liverpool mods I think most of them just can't be arsed right now, what with getting it in the neck from the more insane amongst their own fans.

I know I found it difficult to try and do any modding when Comas, UIR and matth were all whining at each other, and to the mods about each other, so I would assume the LFC mods face the same problem with Ds, Sisu, donga et al right now.

I actually feel a bit sorry tfor the decent Liverpool fans - can you imagine what your forum would have been like if there was fully working internet in February 1995?

And had it been around ijn the 1980s we'd have been fielding millions of silly comments about Elton John <yikes>

"Prem League say their incoming chairman Anthony Fry is a Man Utd fan - just like FA's incoming chairman Greg Dyke & FA vice chairman David Gill."

    Perfect timing <laugh>

Can't wait to see certain Liverpool fans get their teeth into this one (pun intended)

At least that's the PL sewn up for the next decade <ok>

He'll love that that, the moon barking moron.

I notice none of them ever reference the fact that lifelong kopite Brian Barwick held the reigns at the FA for years like.

  18. I closed it pretty much as soon as I logged on late on last night. I saw the Palace fans comments and that Sisu / Donga were online arguing against him. It was never going to go well so it was easiest to get rid <ok>

Edit: I have now deleted the thread. Never thought about people still reading it with me only closing it <ok>

As I said on the other thread (and above), I wasn't online at the time so wasn't able to deal with it. I agree that he should be banned.

    Nail on head <ok>

Like I said I've no problem with the mods of your board and I get on with them all pretty well to be honest.

However, as you agreed, the special lad last night was going to far with it in my opinion. I think you replied to him last night asking why he posted in on your board ?

I'm not arguing with you though mate. By backs ****ed up and I'm in a **** mood that's all <laugh>

  20. That was after his first comment but then I had to nip out so logged off. I thought it would act as a bit of a warning that he was being watched but obviously not <ok>

I've requested a ban from our board (well, Minx actually asked for a site ban and I seconded it) and suggested that the Man Utd mods might want him banned from here too? Will need one of your mods to confirm it on the mod board if this is the case <ok>
