I know it is, I've got espn.

Nowhere out will show it ahead of rugby anywhere I would think.

Perfect hangover breakfasts that, although it doesn't actually cure anything. It's just one of those things I also crave when feeling rough.

    I had porridge!

    Where had the Butty Bach?

Got a couple of ales in for the match later on, will not go mad though. She's off out all afternoon with the kids, got no idea what to do with myself. I'd do some gardening but it's pissing down. I know I won't be popular if I do **** all so I might have to do some of the ironing with the telly on.

I spunked out £70 over the Cheltenham festival this week, did not have one single ****ing winner. No more putting money on horses for me, I am clueless.

It is wierd how **** and the like are asterisk'd out.

Where's the option bottom left gone I wonder?

Just made a pasta bake for me dinner; tomato sauce with basil and ham, using wholemeal pasta and have haloumi on top which will roast. Reckon it'll be nice.

(can't be arsed to put it on the other thread)

Watching half a dozen sets of AP2's. I think it's going to have to happen!!

One ends later today but they're 2010, the rest are 2012. All got Project X shafts. I should get £100 back on my AP1's on Ebay.

City one down, should be more too.

good work.. I've missed out on a couple of taylormade rescue.. the one i want ends tomoro night. but its creeping up in price now annoyingly. I may end up buying a new MD golf one. they do a seve range blatant rip off of taylormades but they have good reviews for £20 i get a brand new club.

Well to be fair they are budget/starter clubs so might be more your thing for now.

Golf is an awkward game and the kit does reflect how good the player is. No point going for clubs aimed at single figure players just yet, you got to learn to play the game.

Because your swing speed and timing are ****, obviously!!

I would also advise you get three lessons, have someone set you up and show you some basics before you get into too many bad habits.

cant afford lessons.. if i keep playing like i have the last few weeks and play regularly again I will be ok. You'd have been impressed with the way i played last week. think i scuffed about 4 shots all day. even made some good putts.

when i used to play 2-3 times a week i was going round 18 in the mid ish 80's.

I just dont take it as seriously as you. I enjoy playing it.

Ahhhh yes, but once you're gripped, you will.

Like I said, the problem with being self taught is that you can teach yourself some nasty habits. You'll probably also reach a standard that you'll never improve from, which is perfectly fine if you're ok with that and don't take it too seriously.

I've got a plan to be back down to nine by end of autumn, probably a bit optimistic as the reason I've gone up is down to lack of play and that won't improve much any time soon, I will still have three young kids!!

Hopefully I can get some practice done in the week while I work away a bit.
