Random question: I'm sat waiting for an appointment, and am witnessing a pair of swans having a fight. They have ended up now in the back garden of a house. Now if it was my house, my dog would kill them.. Would the owner of a dog get into trouble for the killing of a swan on his own land? I know that if your dog kills any wildlife you're likely to lose the dog or get fined heavily. Answers on a post card please
All Swans are the Queens property too so that adds that into the mix, very much a treasonable offence. I would have thought that if it's your own garden though you can hide the evidence. Or eat it.
Pretty sure you'd be fine - you only have to keep your dog under control on public property and prove it's not dangerous. You should be ok if your dog attacks a wild swan in your own garden cos it's not on public property and you could argue it was just defending the property. Particularly if the swans were already fighting. The only problem you could have is if the RSPCA started causing grief, and even then they can't do much if it's on your own lawn The Queen only "owns" wild mute swans, and even if they were mute swans her ownership wouldn't mean you got in trouble. It'd be just like someone let their pet hamster into your garden and your dog ate it - it's their own stupid fault.
Whichever, he's doing it in a barely literate and laughable manner. The bloke is demented pondlife of the highest order. I note that his "United fans were chanting racist songs" (no back up, no evidence, no complaint) is still running freely on their board. Now, I'm fairly sure that we would have closed such **** on this board as it is simply not true.
I understand why they think that Benitez is a good manager, which he clearly isn't, because he won them a couple of trophies but why do they think he's a good bloke? How many positive things have his former players and other managers got to say about him? He's obviously an objectionable twat.
Ah, but just before they fired him he touched the This is Anfield sign and had a tear in his eye (probably realising he could have negotiated a better payoff). That obviously proves that he loves the Liverpool fans with every ounce of his shrivelled black heart
Yes, that definitely proves he loves them, just like when he said there was only one club in England for him and that he would never manage Chelsea out of respect for Liverpool.
Ah, the classic fdDave 'I have no argument so I'll say you're thick' stance. Always knocks them dead. They love him because he "did loads for Hillsborough", whatever that means. I actually think he has a point in this case, the fans should lay off him and get behind the team. It wasn't Benitez who sacked De Matteo was it? However, moaning about him being interim is just bollocks, he went in with his eyes open on that and can't complain now. I'm fairy sure that, yet again, he will walk away well recompensed with a tidy little ready made excuse for how **** he was. Happens everytime with this one.
Problem is Benitez is a manager it's very hard for fans to get behind. Unless you're like Liverpool fans and just blindly love him no matter what he does or says then some of the stuff he comes out with just seems designed to get people's backs up. He made the rod for his own back when he joined Chelsea imo. First press conference he's in there banging on about how he's a top manager and Chelsea fans will love him when we wins them trophies. Was never likely to impress Chelsea fans who have experienced genuine top managers like Mourinho, Hiddink and Ancelotti. If he'd shown a bit more humility then maybe he wouldn't be in the situation he's in now.
If anyone can be arsed, go on you tube and search for unbelievable David beckham. It from when he was film a Pepsi ad. Immense.
