He was given a 24 hour temp ban for reviving about 7 threads from June just to laugh at old comments and post one word replies in his usual style, The intention was to let him back and set some clear rules, but sadly he decided to piss about making new accounts which caused brb to make the ban permanent. Its disappointing since it will get quiet again.

There was nothing wrong with reviving old threads. People post ****e thinking it will be buried and forgotten. Maybe he pissed off some twat by reminding them of the ****e they'd posted so they went crying to a mod. Has to be said, the moderation on this board is pretty comical. A guy was banned from the Chelsea board for taking offence (and no doubt reacting) to ****e comments about Stephen Lawrence.
People have got way with far worse than just reviving old threads and I mean really offensive ****. Still I wouldn't want to mod Matth.
I like having Matt around. Some of the stuff is marginally irritating but it's ok. Got to say though, I do often question what the **** am I doing, a grown man, spending so much time on here conversing with Matt when I really, really should be doing some work!
