I came in this morning and hung around then went back home. All of them in one room, because the wood burner was lit, because the schools were closed and I just thought **** that I'm going back to work. It would have been mental.
Evening gentlemen. And KingEric Seems like the entirety of the UK is now covered in snow except for Scotland. The world is upside down, and for once I'm on top. Except the wind and hailstones threatening to batter my front door down. And the lack of snow didn't stop my wife from badgering me to put snow tyres on the Merc. £763 just cos she can't drive a rear wheel automatic and gets antsy about a bit of drift. Oh, and she went the back way to work and had to be towed out of a snow drift on Monday... I did have some amusement this week when I blew my shredder up. ****ing thing is on its last legs, always squeaking and overheating whenever there's more than one sheet in it. So I decided to spray a wee bit of PTFE on it to lube it up. Lubing being the solution to everything of course. Until I jammed four sheets in it, it overheated again and the PTFE vapours ignited with a massive bang, setting all the shredded paper on fire. That was a barrel of laughs - running to the kitchen to fill the paper bin with water having almost shat myself, whilst the smouldering bits of paper jammed in the gears threatened to set the study alight. Never a dull moment.

Swarbs dealt with it very nicely and Donga just disappeared without trace. Brilliant, he just puts made up twisted stuff out there using massive poetic licence and hopes no one spots it. When they do he, thankfully, ****'s off to compose his next pile of utter ****e. And he does indeed have to include a reference to Suarez, as that is the law, usually including his mental comparison to Rio Ferdinand not doing or saying anything even remotely similar to what Suarez did!!
