I loved it although I kept having to Sky+ it so the other half could watch the X factor but at least that meant I could fast forward the adverts Even with Kaymer and Molinari just needing a point between the two of them I still had my doubts that we'd actually turn it around. Poulter was an absolute legend this week
Crawl from beneath her thumb for god sake man. There is never an excuse to allow anyone to watch the xfactor. EVER.
Never a truer word Good weekend for sporting results generally Warrington made it to the final as well We have to twat Sri Lanka today though.
It's not really a cliche, more a fact. My Sunday league team embarrasses most PL footballers in sportsmanship.
It's become a pithy line quoted by lazy sports jouno's though, even though it is indeed a fact. I didn't bother wathing United v Spurs on Saturday evening, I stuck with the golf. Says it all really, it's not long ago that the world stopped for United games and I planned holidays and days within holidays around them. Can't connect with the side anymore and definitely can't connect with footballers in general. I sent Sweats a pic of when I was sat in traffic the other week, next to me were Chico Flores and Michu of Swansea. Chico was driving a Ferrari, £250k worth easily! I also sent it to my mate, season ticket holder at Swansea for years, his reply was "****ing hell, I remember Andy Legg driving round in a club Maestro". It ain't like it once was. And footballers are not better for it.
I agree with your sentiments. Footballers are just out of touch due to their extravagant wages and live in a different world to everyone else. Once Old Trafford was a stadium with a fantastic atmosphere and now full of Chinese tourists just at a game to take photos. This reminds me of that time i went to see FC United play a few years back. I can hand on heart say those few hundred fans at the game created a better atmosphere and were louder than the 75 thousand at Old Trafford.
Our away support is superb, regardless of whether they stand during the games and also regardless of what bullshit our scouse friends might say about them. We've always had the best away support in the country and we always will, impossible to get tickets now. The home support is ****, the difference between now and even five years ago is staggering.
19 runs doesn't sound a lot, but it is in this format. I don't like T20, but I'd still have liked to retain the trophy. I'd never have Bopara anywhere near an England ever again.
Ive not been for years but over the TV the second half support v Spurs sounded brilliant. Very unlike United at home.
Spot on. Our away support is just fantastic and i have been to a few away games last season and the atmosphere is great.
They are still there, it's just that the good support is now massively outnumbered by the tourist type support and those who can afford tickets. When the crowd is up for it it can still rock, not often enough though. I used to drive up and back on a Wednesday night for CL games but even they seem flat now, not been to one for a good few years. Having three kids has buggered up my chances of going now!! *edit - going to the Swansea game in December though. *
He's clearly not up to it. Whatever KP might have said and however much of a twat he is, I am glad he's back in the test fold.
