    My original one was THETUNNEL1978.

I'd love to meet up with tha Bertie though, and have a little word in shell like! I bet he's all full of it with Citeh turning the tide an all ..... not!

R7whatever became Sergioathios, whatever the **** that means. Nathan in other words. Memyselfandpie disappeared off the face of the planet. Scholes, ahhh or old scholsey wolsey. Thinks he knows it all yet knows very little. A likeable yet completely objectionable lad.
The things that grated with me was his super red attitude when if you strip it all back he is and always will be a shining example of what a glory hunter actually is. By its very definition, like it or not, and he can protest as much as he likes, he is one.

He has NO connection, be it family, spiritual or whatever to either United or Manchester. He lives in one of the home counties and completely ignores his local teams, he supports United because they are succesfull and for no other reason, he makes no effort at all to acknowledge that the club existed pre 1990, has never been to a game, doesn't bother to learn its history and blithely assumes that the current crop, or certainly of the last five years, are the best players to have ever pulled on a United shirt which is, of course, total ****ing bollocks and an insult to 100+ years of club history.

He always bought a new shirt though and shouted loudest down the pub!!!! Mega fan.

That's why he bugged me. Like i say, likeable enough but a bit of a dick.

I know what you mean with scholesy, but was awkward for me to take the same viewpoint having no connection with the place myself other than being dragged up there from a young age to watch us get beat.. Incidentally my god father who used to take me, was on sky the other night at Gaz Nevs testimonial in camera with his daughter who (i'd like to ****.. an incidentally sorted out my break up with the ex an the house stuff for me.. )

Who was the person really into heavy metal?

I was Tagnuts originally. Then Man of Chops and now what I am.

I'd say it was fours years or so since I was invited in by Foo.

Yeah, but that was your connection. A relative who drilled it into you (no entendre intended!) and took you there so you understood. Even if we were **** at that time. He 'supports' United because we're good, end of. He knows no different, I ****ing hate that type of fan.

The one really into metal is Miles, he changed his moniker a few times and I can't remember what it was last we heard form him.

How comes I'm still a newbie? I long to be a member...

Yeah, it's been a while Tags. I can't even remember what thread we were on when bumped into each other. Probably some WUM dipper thread that we were enjoying. There were plenty to choose from. Zip & the gang were already in place on our thread and Tags added to the sentiment very nicely - and here we are, many many MANY hours of wasted (well, not wasted really) man hours down the line.

I used to sit on 606 for literally 8 hours a day when I worked for the MoD. I had the cushiest job EVER. I couldn't actually make work so I had to wait for it to come my way. 606 (before it was ****) provided me with so much enjoyment and piss taking distraction.

    I know which thread.
It was Serge, as RR7 my sax is on fire or some other nonesense, giving it out that you had to be supporting the England football team to 'prove' you were proud to be English. We had a lengthy discussion, not heated, about why he was talking utter bollocks and why I don't define being English as being in any way mutually exclusive to supporting England and you invited me over to whatever thread you all had at the time. It was after legendary Torres but not by much.

I agree, I must have wasted weeks on 606, it went downhill rapidly over the last couple of years though. I had an account before Tagnuts bit was pretty much banned due to verbal attacks of a savage mature to our scouse friends.

Ha that was superb Tags lad! It's strange that, although I remember the thread now you've reminded me, I don't remember typing any of that. I still stand by it though. Funny the way I mentioned Scholesy even back then, warning you what he was like.

We were spot on with our views on England - as it was to be proven in the next year or so in SA.

You watching the build up on sky pal? Unfortunately, people seem to be taking time to listen to Souness' opinions about football though. He's a decent bloke but you can't take anything he says to the bank. Still a legend for dismantling the dippers as manager though. They still haven't come back from his reign...

Jesus christ... I can't remember if I mentioned this but I have my soon to be 17 yr old nephew living with me.. Whilst he is at college over here.. I have foolishly agreed to his mates coming round tonight.. Normally when I agree to this I go into town get hammered come in late find them all asleep in his room go in there armed with an extremely bright torch an shine it in their faces whilst shaking them an calling them benders..

Unfortunately tonight I have opted to merely pop out.. Upon arriving back at shez sweats I find them all smoking dope in my back garden having destroyed three pizzas an singing an giggling like girls..

I think I maybe forced into executing them all imminently as now I'm trying to sleep they appear to have started singing again.. An my blood has started to boil ..

I do remember you talking about that lad a while ago Sweats. Nightmare! I couldn't bear the thought of living with the constant threat of youth...
I was bad enough when I was 20 and in basic training in the army & had to share a 10 man room with 17 & 18 year olds acting like complete ****ing twats every night. I must've had 30 arguments in my training-time where I threatened to pull their eyes out if they didn't shut the **** up.

Couldn't imagine having to live with that now sweats. You have my sympathy big lad. Anyhoo, off to bed to prepare myself for tomorrow's vomitous mental state. I said to myself that I wouldn't get over-anxious but that's just a massive steaming pile of horse ****.
