I'm looking forward to them myself. I think it was a bad idea to start off in the wrong country with a sport no one is interested in before the opening ceremony but maybe I'm being picky there. The games themselves I want to succeed though. I don't get why everyone is moaning about being excluded, it's the LONDON games at the end of the day, the clue is in the title. It's a pr stunt gone wrong as the gullible British public has been led into believing that it is the British games. Fools, the lot of em.

    totally agree.

and those here in cardiff or wales saying what good is doing for "us", get off your fat chavvy arses put down the sky remote gather your 6 offspring and venture into town the atmosphere last night was great, more of a festival gathering vibe than the usual footy or rugby, there's stuff going on all over place just get out and find it, you'll never have the chance again.<diva>

Got tickets for Elbow this morning Tunns.

Seems a bit wierd really, first time I saw them in town was the equivalent of a back street boozer and now they are playing the MEN, which is a bit **** by all accounts. Never seen a band there but am going to see Morrissey there tomorrow night so I'll soon find out.

Good excuse for a piss up, a good few Sam Smiths in Sinclairs tomorrow afternoon me thinks!

Was going to bring old Wooksie to book on that, we'll have less of the 'Team GB' if you don't mind. We're neither American nor middle management salesmen wearing pink ****ing ties thank you.

What about those Welsh ****s not singing the national anthem, eh? Scandalous.

The four welsh boys in TEAM GB have about two brains cells between them so it's more than likely they just don't know the ****ing words.

And yes, that includes you Ryan boy, Mr Salford himself.

To be fair I don't see the problem half the England team don't sing the anthem. I actually think England should have it's own anthem an keep gsq for GB Only.

Here you go _ Land of Hope and Glory was used until the last common wealth games when it was dropped for Jersuselum - I think they only do this for the common wealth games though <ok>

yeah wooks was one of our motley crue.

Jeruselem I think is a far better choice for the English national anthem, can't stand land of no hope chavs or the facist regime one. ;)
