This is interesting... A thread which attempts to reveal all of the positive aspects about Bruce infact produces more posts of a negative nature.

Perhaps there just isn't much in the way of positive comments to offer regarding Bruce?

Or perhaps it is just much easier to find fault rather than favour!

Posters know my opinion. They also know I would love to shut up and leave Bruce alone.

Positives? Well. We are still in the premiership..............

    Thats it, really.

    Our Defense isnt bad.

13 teams have let in more goals than us
we have the 6th best goal difference
we have also scored more goals than 8 other sides and the same as Newcastle

its just the points that are a bit ****, but we havnt been turned over yet, OK we havnt played the 2 Manchester Clubs but we did play Chelsea.

In the last 38 games, we have 40 points, Ok not outstanding by any means, but it would have kept us up every season since 2002/3 when West Ham went down with 42.

Bolton were fighting for Europe with us around December/Jan time, they finished 15th, we finished 10th, and we had a terrible run with injuries, they had Sturridge who was knocking them in for fun, wtf happened to them, this season they have had a hard start, and may turn it around, but atm, at least we are not them.

Made some good signings, has proved he can attract world class players: Bent, Gyan, Muntari, Mensah, Sessegnon.

Has proved he can get the best out of players: Bardo, Ferdinand, Bramble, Brown.

Can spot talent and bring youth through: Henderson, Colback, Meyler, Campbell.

I feel the bloke has been a bit unlucky, maybe his luck will not change but maybe it will? last season without the injuries and Bent Fiasco you just never know. This season without the Gyan problem you never know. Then again without some lucky results at the end of last season we could have finished lower. It probably evens out.

I think if he does stay in the job this season will not end as badly as some think/hope. He is just over 2 years into a 5 year plan and I for one would like to see him given the time to see that plan out. We have been waiting over 38 years to win something so I think giving the guy a big longer is not too unreasonable. I am willing to be he will come good in the end. All the local supporters round here (Bham) think we are mad to be getting on his back.
