No im just telling the facts.. The money was gone and unfortunately he didnt have anything to play with.

Keegan had completely exhausted the club and removed the youth team.

Dalglish wasn't great but he didnt choose to get rid of top players they had to sell them:emoticon-0148-yes:

Who the **** told him to buy Ian Rush?
 
The reason Keegan left was his ego. The lawyers waltzed into his office, told him of the stock market launch, and demanded he either sign a new contract or leave as the shareholders would need certainty over who was what come launch day - he walked.

A company does not get floated on the stock market or be prepared to launch on the stock market being skint - so that myth is bullshit.

The club was skint and he removed the youth system.
