Indeed, but I'm also taking into consideration we lost schar, wilson, almiron and max for months during that period.. Take them out the side and you've got nothing..

I just don't think there's any doubt we've taken a huge step fwd since Jones came in mate.

I don't mind people wanting a manager out when the sides playing badly ( I did) but forming bruce out protests when you've been playing well the passed two months and the sides scored more goals than anyone in the league in that time isn't a good look.

They then complain and abuse the pundits if they say anything about how stupid it is.

It's a vicious circle the fans create

Have you considered why that might be?

It's because on the outside they see the reality without the emotional bias! It's not some weird agenda against nufc fans.

Aston Villa have spent hundreds of millions

How many times have West ham been that high? Pardew got 5th it wasn't good enough.. Bobby Robson got 5th and that wasn't good enough either.

He's done OK mate that's all I'm saying.

All you've done the last few days is try to wind NUFC fans up, not sure why you hate the fanbase so much really.

You used to be funny with your trolling but this latest stint is just bland

I don't hate anyone I just think Bruce isnt getting treated fairly at this point.

It's not just me saying it but I accept I'm a monority.

It's been going on for years tbh.. I don't like it...

Anyway I think I've been enough of a **** today.

Bruce is a stupid dumb cabbage who land a job way too good for him cos no one else would take it.

He might have kept us up for 2 seasons, but that's only a good achievement cos he normally gets teams relegated. And that's before we get on to the fact he's a ****ing mackem reject.

Newcastle have one of the poorer squads in the league - and that's without the injuries to key players this season - where do you expect to finish? Many expected you guys to again slide silently into the chill dark waters of the Champ.

I had high hopes for this season and optimistically thought we'd finish about 18th place,touch and go at the moment.

The fact it is classed as an achievement for Bruce not to have been in the relegation zone all season, just shows how expectations are at rock bottom.

I probably didn't expect to any better tbh, but I still don't want Bruce here.
 
In total fairness he has done well in the last 6 weeks and that does deserve credit and the MOTM award he received.

Prior to that it's been dog ****e for 18 months. Came in took a well drilled squad and undrilled it, blamed the fans for hysteria and has generally done everything - not by design but through incompetence - to disgruntle the fan base at every turn.

I do take Chaos' point though that without our talismen this year we have struggled and last year he didn't have a striker to use and credit to him he has now found a way to play 2 up top as he has been saying he wants to.

Overall he gets an D-/E grade thus far. if he is here next year and keeps up the form it will bump up.

I'd have given Benitez C+/B- did what was probably expected of him without pulling up any major trees - par for the course I'd say. Only touching the B's because he stayed after relegation
