He's not been **** this season - I think fans have forgotten that he was the one carrying our attack for the first half of the season. He has been poor since but we should remember that he's been played in all positions bar his best one i.e. number 10.
And I do have a little sympathy for him - the club have been leaking things to the press re. his contract. Rodgers/FSG and the Echo have a very good relationship.

He has played in those positions mate. But you can't expect him to be top class in each position. There's a reason why he has struggled this season:
a) played out of position more often and not
b) no Suarez
c) no sturridge
d) Rodgers has set this team up to defend first, then attack
He's 20 years old and we're expecting him to carry this attack. He has to carry the likes of Lallana and Lambert. Course he's going to struggle.
£40-50m for him and I'd take it - we can sign 2-3 very good players for that money.

His agent needs shooting. I'm all up for a bit of Liverpool FC piss taking but Sterling needs to stay at the club for at least another season. Where does he think he deserves to be? Chelsea so he can play the Salah/Cuadrado role of **** substitute? Arsenal where he can be the new Oxlade-Chamberlain who is the new Walcott (neither start a game)? Or the new Tony Daley? He's a cracking player who's close to ****ing up his career.
