I don't think there'll be offers over £30million for Sterling. As Digger said, he's achieved nothing so far.

It's a shame Walcott is so injury prone, as I'd take Walcott plus £20m for Sterling, but like Sturridge, Walcott is made of glass.

£40 m for sterling ??? how do you come to that figure... £15 -£20m max is about right for a teenager with potential.....I like the youngster and can understand him wanting away with the pressure put on him by Rodgers. The fact is he is too good for a team that don't have much potential other than finishing in the top 6 and he wants to win things and to be fair Rodgers is not a winner and no closer to winning the premiership than the rest of us.

If he was a teenager I'd agree. Ibe is the teen and you sir have shown yourself up as a racist

£27m for shaw...
£16m for chambers who had played half a season

Sterling is worth £20million more than Walcott? No chance. I'd say they're worth about the same but the fact Walcott only has a year left on his Arsenal contract means they would have to accept a cut in transfer fee but not £20million!

Citeh > West Ham > Spurs

Rots on the bench at Citeh, goes to West Ham on loan and made permanent for a knocked down fee, recovers alittle and ends up at Spurs

And just how exactly does a club show "potential"?, you have to build a team that can achieve success, or do you think they come ready made.

Since Sterling got a permanent first team place he's had a top 2 finish so where do you get " top 6" from?, he's more to blame for our current position than others in our squad due to him not being arsed for most of the season.
"to good" for us?, he's not as good as Couthinho who recently signed a new contract.
He "wants to win things", don't ALL players want that?, there's only a handful of clubs that are capable of winning things in this country and he'd end up on the bench at those clubs and win any success by default.

Anyway **** the little scrote, maybe the Swans or QPR will get him this summer.<whistle>
