no cracker it was some of your own saying about your chairmans lack of ambition <ok>......we couldnt give a fk what the jacks do tbh so please get over yourselves its becoming laughable

Their ambition is showing interest in the same strikers we are, despite being a division above us.

Says the fan of a club whose fans are generally reviled up and down the country. Crash and burn.

I ****in loves me some statistics. As a member of this board for about a year, I have noticed one particular theme come up time and time again. That is the widely-held belief amongst Cardiff City fans that Swansea City fans are somehow obsessed with the Bluebirds. Some put this down to an inferiority complex. Some say they are just immature idiots. Such claims are difficult to quantify. But what is possible, and what I have done (thanks to having three classes cancelled today) is analyse both the Cardiff board and Swansea board to compare postings. The rationale behind this analysis was to discover how often members were posting on the opposition board.

I decided to look at the most recent 20 threads on both boards. Exclusions include threads that are 'sticky', and the word association thread (cos it's so bloody long).

I will just present the stats, and let you come to your own conclusions. :)

Total number of Bluebirds board posts analysed: 502 (20 threads)
Number of posts on the Bluebirds board by Swans: 74
Average number of posts per Bluebirds thread by Swans: 3.7
Percentage of Swans posts on Bluebirds threads: 14.7%

Total number of Swans board posts analysed: 772 (20 threads)
Number of posts on the Swans board by Bluebirds: 15
Average number of posts per Swans thread by Bluebirds: 0.75
Percentage of Bluebirds posts on Swans threads: 1.94%

To put it another way, Swans are 7.5 times more likely to post on a Bluebirds thread than the reverse.

Discuss!

Total number of paranoid people, with too much time on their hands, who then sit down and give a **** about working out these pointless numbers..... 1 <peacedove> FACT

Good WUM korean - fair play! You caught a few on here! But I will continue to post on the Cardiff board if I feel like it, and not because I am an obsessive Jack - just because I am quite partial to a bit of genuine debate!

Always seem to get to these posts too late - have plenty of constructive comments to make, but by the time I get here it seems to have degenerated into a 'we're better than you - blah blah blah blah' slanging match!

Oh what a perfect world it would be if the muppets on both sides would put aside their petty grievances and enter into a decent debate! We could actually talk about the thing we love - football! But unfortunately - every time I get to these threads they have descended into petty name calling and point scoring!!

Am I alone in wishing that these forums could be a place of honest and intelligent debate? Or am I being too naive? Would love it if the members of the CCFC and SCFC boards could put their childish arguments aside and just enter into considered debates about the game we love! Cardiff, Swansea, we are all passionate about our team, and I welcome debates from each side - but this petty name calling just harks back to the playground in infant school - people - surely we are better than that! So let’s try and get on peeps! Keep the banter going – but let’s not hijack decent threads with crass WUMMING! I would like to think we are all better than that!

And, for the record, I am a lifelong Jack and passionate about what we have achieved – but can also see that CCFC are equally passionate and proud about what their team has achieved; I am a proud Jack and will support my team come rain or shine, but would never denigrate the achievements of CCFC – your team and fans do you proud and long may it remain that way!

LOL.... I've seen your cartoons mate!

Cartoonhead,

You make a lot of good points in your posts and for me you are always welcome as is most Swans posters.

You say "by the time I get here it seems to have degenerated into a 'we're better than you - blah blah blah blah' slanging match!"

I'll bet that these threads have been taken over by those twins of intelligent debate Crackerjack & Knackeredjack.

In all fairness, we have a **** load more to laugh about than you do. Cardiff posters on the Swansea board only end up embarrassing themselves due to their lack of ammo and poor wumming in general (don't blame you mind, it's the effort that counts) but truth is, you've nothing left to say to us. Ummm we went into admin 20 years ago, you won the fa cup in the 1920's, Tate broke his leg.... Anything else?

Yep.

The begging buckets.

Tank / Johnny The Brains and co.

Swansea a Love Story.

Pulse Bar.

To be fair this thread does show that Swansea have fans who have a big chip on their shoulders and Korean has caught the usual suspects. Cartoonhead and Swimaway I dont include in that.

Before reading this thread it was predictable who would be all over it and wasnt being disappointed.

Liverpool fans at that last game of the season down the Libery thought they had magic mushrooms in their burgers when they saw plastic Elvis`s singing Max Boyce rugby songs and Union flags flying ................ that place really has to find an identity ,what a show up for Wales.
