I do like the idea of different wheels/tyres but they have announced it way too early as Merc will be ploughing money into their models and simulators so they have the best handle possible on the change way before they need to. They have so much money they just throw cash at it and most of the other teams can't afford to spend as much. So IF Merc continue past 2021 they will still be out front....
Ferrari not only putting Leclerc on the obviously wrong strategy but then held up Vettel with him. Were they really not prepared for the idea that a driver on the hards might be slower than one on the mediums?
Ched Ched Ched . How can you make such a rookie mistake as forgetting what the mighty Williams will become ? I will let you off this time …..
Let's not forget Mercedes have gone down the wrong path with their front wing and it will take months to catch up to Ferrari... Red Bull have the same issue also. Who's the top 3 at the moment I wonder?
Had to bring Leclerc in. It wasn't working. Might have though about the softs. Max did 22 laps on them. Problem is now is he'll be faster than Vettel again. Ferrari team orders debate part 3.
I take it back Verstappen has had an excellent season so far, picking up the Ferrari pieces without a fuss
Bottas saying he some sort of clutch issue at the start ? Anyway , he can hold his head high . I just hope it continues .
I'm not questioning his a I'm not questioning his ability to drive an F1 car very well . I just cannot abide him , or his sycophantic people . Like father like son …...
It's not so much Mercedes overall better pace that's the problem this season, it's just that we all know that even if Ferrari manage to catch up they're to incompetent to be able to actually race Mercedes. They've been faster by a margin in one race this season for whatever reason, it just seems even they don't know the reason.
Mercedes absolutely crushing everyone. Red Bull and Ferrari are miles away and Merc have their measure in chassis and DF terms this year. Mercedes should annihilate them in Monaco. RBR will have more updates in the pipeline with their Newey-led team so I back them to end up closest to Merc by end of year. Ferrari to me have gone down a wrong road and they need to have a serious re think.
