If we get really anorak, Eastleigh, Gosport, and Havant&W are all at level 6, so looking good there. Totton still knocking around at level 7, with Bashley and now Poole. Guernsey level 8? Ok that is definitely too far.
Saw someone wrote on Twitter last night that if Redknapp takes over at Brighton he would have done more damage to the south coast than Hitler. Made me chuckle.
I would rather watch a load of chicks trying to kick a ball around than watch division 4 football. What could be worse than watching that rubbish , with a drunken smelly halfwit ringing a bell in your ear? I went out for a few sherbets with one of the deluded few at the weekend and really rubbed his flat fishy face in it. Forget about us, they're two leagues below boscombe and Yeovil, that's seriously embarrassing. With Guy halfwit ingham in charge they'll do well to stay up. Luckily for them its only 2 down.
Interesting though it undoubtedly is, on the whole, I think I'd prefer watching Division 4 [League Two] football:
I think Brighton City FC (formerly Whitehawk FC) deserve a mention here as they got promoted to the Conference South this season. Massive achievement.
Is white hawk the team that used to be in the Sussex league and played their home games on a pitch in the middle of a big council housing estate? If so, I made my debut for Bognor Regis against them in the FA cup qualifiers, back in 1988
wow, that's some research. Came off the bench to score in the first game and they even showed the goal on South Today ... my 15 seconds....
A friend of mine plays for Totton and is now looking for a new club, they owe him and other squad members money. Think they are 100k to the wall and could go bust, amazing in contrast to a £128m debt virtually getting wrote off and keeping a football league club afloat.
