Had mine done about 20 years ago, the procedure was done at my local doctors no real problems at all. My only issue was having to give a sample to see if my swim team had finally disappeared. I had to do a five knuckle shuffle into this little jar, as this was the first time I had hit the vinegar stroke since the op' it was a weird feeling, thought my knackers were going to fall off...but all was fine. Nothing to worry about
I once had my arse heaps chopped out & that was ****ing nasty I can tell you. Like ****ting a ****ing porcupine afterwards.
Defeats the object. For me, when I make a life changing decision like this, I don't want to go back If that's in your mind you might as well just use contraception and save putting yourself through operations.
Or wake up and realise you've just had a bloody horrible nightmare and vow to never anyone mess with the precious jewels!
I'm with you mate. If you've got any shadow of doubt about having regret why have it done in the first place?
You're missing the point This works as well as the snip, but there is no operation to put yourself through, It is a single injection. Will probably cost about 50 quid, you'll spend more than that in a year on condoms or other contraceptive. No need to use a condom, not depending on your wife to remember the pill, no side effects due to swallowing hormones (wife not complaining about putting on weight due to the pill, and other things).... And if you divorce your wife (or split up form long term girlfriend) and you end up with someone else who wants kids - which seems to have happened to at least a couple of people on here - you can reverse it with another injection. Hell, a 16 year old me would have been happy to get that done - no unwanted scares if a condom breaks, or trusting that your girlfriend is actually taking the pill like she said she is or hasn't forgot it etc, then just get an injection to reverse it when you decide you want to have a kid with someone.
If I'm having doubts then I'm still not gunna put myself through consultations, pre-ops, post-ops, injections (I hate needles) and parting with money too. You can get condoms for free
whilst on matters penis related... A guy I work with is a personal injury lawyer (proper ambulance chaser...) and we were having a couple of pints after work on Friday and he told me a bit about his day... He was advising a bloke who had been in a serious car accident that he didn`t have a claim as the accident was his fault. That said he had reviewed the guys medical records and thought he might have half a chance of having a go at the hospital who had tried to patch him up when he arrived by ambulance. The surgery on his arms and legs was fine - no issue there but they had to also do something to his bladder - it involved having a catheter inserted up his Japs eye - the nurse managed to do it without using any lubricant and with such force that the bloke has lost 3 inches off his cock!!! I have no idea how true the story was but the looks on all the faces of the 5 blokes sat having a beer was priceless
is that right they are giving them away to boy scouts these days....................................................................................................................................................................Blob a Job!
Who said anything about having doubts ? and who wants to use a condom if they can do without ? The point is that it doesnt (wont) have to be a life changing decision anymore. It can be done cheaply and relatively painlessly (pain of a injection) without the need for pre-ops or post-ops. Someone might know they dont want kids with theirwife/girlfriend in the next 5 or 10 years, but might want them later so just get an injection and when they do decide to have kids just get another injection. If you would prefer to piss about with condoms than get a simple injection, then fair enough. personally, I hate having to use condoms, my wife isnt reliable in taking the pill and we know we dont want another kid any time soon, if at all, as we already have 2. If we do have another kid it wouldnt be for another 3 or 4 years, so if the injection was available now I would get it done - easy choice for me. However, the Snip is something I wouldnt consider straight away cos it is a life changing decision cos once you go there you cant go back.
If reversed in the 1st 3 years, it has about a 60% chance of resulting in pregnancy. Wait longer than 10 years and that drops to 30% or less. And unlike the snip which is a micro-surgery, the reverse procedure more often or not means the doctor has take your balls out of the ball sack as it is more complicated. If you are unlucky, you might have developed a blockage, so the procedure is even more complicated again or even less likely to result in a successful pregnancy.... You can also freeze your sperm before the snip and use in-vitro techniques if you do want a another child later on but it costs £££. This injection malarkey just seems so much simpler if they can get it approved and on the market as planned.
I had the snip, but I was absolutely sure that I wouldn't be wanting anymore kids as I was 42 with three kids when I got it done..Although I had very little bother having the snip, I must say that if I could have got away with an injection at the time I would have took it..
How about an update Tees? You shooting blanks yet? You could also use a bottle of whisky and 2 bricks....
