You've done the hardest bit now with regards to the kids and it sounds like you and ya bird have a hectic lifestyle. It's the right decision for you in my eyes. Hope yours swell up and need drained too, I'm a bitter person like that
Game as, glad I got sedated mind mate. As I went into theatre there was a nurse there who was a little darling, if I hadn't of been put to sleep things could have got VERY awkward.
Definitely don't need knocking out...It only takes about 10 minutes or so and the needles take away all the pain..
I'm **** scared of needles and having my warrior out in front of pretty nurses and the thought of possibly some bloke fiddling with my bollocks while I was awake. I'm not sure I would have allowed it to happen! Sedation was the only option, even if it means I'm a wimp!
Lol, cheers mate. Yes it's getting easier now and they start nursery in November, so that'll be a bug help (not that I'm wishing their life away). The first year was relentless. I've never known tiredness like it, nor do I want to again (hence the snip). They were feeding every 3 hours for the first 6 months then it went up to every 4 hours. We couldn't take it in turns having twins, so we both had to do it.
Christ. This is not bedtime material. Im not going to be able to sleep now. Dr ******* contractor? For the record im not getting it done. Night night
That was the oddest thing I found, the doctor was asking if I played golf, and making small talk, whilst he was pulling around on my sack. I'd have rather he just shut up and got on with it.
Lol , had mine done..and it felt like someone had a piano wire round my bollocks and was trying to pull them through my throat. Afterwards not too bad, and went skiing the next day. I told the missus that the doc said she had to give me a b*** job twice a day for a fortnight. And she believed me. That made it worth it
If you can wait, in 2018 there should be a new method on the market which will replace the snip. It should cost less, hurt less and be fuly reversible. Instead of snipping any tubes, they inject them with a gel, which can then be flushed out with another injection if you want to reverse it. http://www.parsemusfoundation.org/vasalgel-home/ They are currently testing it on baboons, and they want to start human trials this year.
