Just think, if they do go down and us go up, they will only be above us in alphabetical order :)

But most of those 7 clubs cant catch us even if they win their games in hand :)

Plus, I would rather have the points on the table now and not still have to win all these games in hand <whistle>

    FA cup updates...

Congrats to Rickie Lambert in progressing to the 4th round.

Heartbreak for Yeovil! 1-1 and just before the end of normal time, Yeovil had a penalty to win the game. They missed. No goals in extra time so went to penalties. Yeovil lost 5-4 missing their last penalty hitting the post! Gutted <whistle>

Anyone who paid to watch that match last night has my sympathy. That was trash played by BOTH teams. Was the pitch so bumpy that WBA were obliged to play every pass in the air until they scored? The player who came out best on the City side was the young goalkeeper who did everything which could be expected of him, which was pretty much nothing. I'm not alone in my view of the game..... read the teletext.....'the only quality moment of the game was the goal'.....

Chillax Tommy :) Does it matter how long he played? He could have not played at all for all I care. But my point still remains... he is in the 4th round. So well done to him <nahnah>

I was wrong by the way. Its £1000 plus VAT.

Im sure you remember we have a raffle each season. To enter the raffle you have to join the 1883 sponsors club which is £1000 and VAT. You automatically enter the draw to sponsor the kits.

1st prize: Home shirt sponsorship for the season
2nd prize: Away shirt sponsorship for the season
3rd prize: Naming rights of the North Stand for the season
4th prize: Back of 1st team shorts sponsorship for the season
5th prize: Perimeter advertising board for the season

We usually get over 60 companies/businesses each season meaning over £60k recieved. Not many clubs in the football league can say they get that each season for shirt sponsorship. For example over 3 years we get over £180k. Another club may have a 3 yar contract with 1 particular company but the club only get £100k for the 3 year period.

Its popular because any size company can get huge benefits because its just £1000 to join.

Hope that answers your interest in us <smooch>
