I would love to confirm this but unfortunately I am covered by the official secrets act so can say no more!!
IMPORTANT: The kick-off time for today's match has been delayed to allow ALL of the MK Dons fans in to the... oh no, hang on. 3pm kick-off as normal. mmm, bit embarrassing for the **** wit who wrote this
What Bristol rovers posted on Twitter yesterday. A falling out as the day before rovers announced mk d fans couldn’t pay on the day…..
Don's fault. We gave them 300 tickets. That was their initial allocation they were given. They only sold 206 5 days before the game. They asked for pay on the day and we told them yeah but they needed to send the the remaining 94 tickets to us. They agreed to that and advertised pay on the day was available. However, they didn't send back the remaining tickets. They kept selling them while advertising pay on the day. They ended up selling all 300 tickets with less than 24 hours to kick off and informed us of this. We told them as they didn't send the tickets back, they can't have pay on the day anymore because they used their allocation of 300. To get a further allocation, it must get advanced permission from the EFL and less than 24 hours was too late. If we continued to give them pay on the day we would get into trouble for breaking EFL rules so it's their own fault why it happened to them. Instead of them accepting responsibility they decided to go public accusing us of messing them around and any fans who travel without a ticket would be our fault. Our club put them straight. I didn't see the comment before kick off that you quoted but it must have been done still peeved at Dons for their antics the previous day
Why do we keep encouraging the opposition, They wound up Shaun Rooney and he got the equaliser they didn't deserve
Tickets are now off sale for tomorrow nights trip to @Argyle, with NO SALES on the night The lads will be backed by 480 gasheads in Devon #UTG
Oh well, we usually get pretty good travelling support - I can understand people not wanting to travel on a Tuesday night after an away trip on Saturday, especially when we were so cack on Saturday! I think I can remember a “Football away days” post on Facebook earlier this year which showed C*ty’s away support at Preston , Wigan or somewhere like that - you looked like you’d all came up on the same minibus!
I wouldn't say travelling 130 miles Bristol to Plymouth is a local rival. Derby is pretty much the same distance. Then consider it was on a work and school night.
Nope. I think it's the Blackpool v Forest game being televised. We're on the telly for our trip to Anfield in the 4th round and I'm sure that the BCFC v BRFC clash in the 5th round will be televised too
We got to the quarter finals in 2008, thanks to the mighty Ricky Lambert scoring in a 1-0 victory over Southampton! I certainly enjoyed catching up with Countryfile on iPlayer last night - why, what else was on?
