What's the bhp and torque like on that ??

Could be a nice little run around.

I'd go with the M-sport version if you can find a decent deal on one, will give you better performance and importantly more fun. nothing better than putting a beemer in sport mode and spaffing some knobhead off the line at the lights

Have you had a beemer before and what car are you coming from ??

Nah, it's a bit boring but I do a lot of miles to and from work so wanting something a bit more economical so being boring and getting diesel as well <ok>

Currently got a Peugeot so nothing exciting, had it a while <ok>

Had an M-Sport diesel 3 series a couple of years ago ... was very economical for the size of engine etc (330d), diesel beemers are good for that and you can still have fun in them. Either way you're gonna be happier than sat in your French piece of **** <laugh>:emoticon-0105-wink:

Yeah, vast improvement on my current. To be fair, I've had it like 4/5 years and haven't had any real problems with it and it's done me a decent job getting to work and back.

Getting to stage now where can afford a decent car and the insurance isn't also going to be sky high either

Just going to book a test drive later in the week

Once you get to owning BMWs, Mercs, Audis and better you're at a stage in life where sitting in traffic is actually alright sometimes but you'll be even more pissed off with the stupid **** other dumbass drivers throw at you on the road. Good thing is though you've got some performance to get you out of dodgy situations, it's top when you're joining an mway and those ****s in front of you have built up no speed at all on the sliproad so are still doing 40 joining lane 1, just slip it into sport or put your foot down and you're gone around them

I have a 2.0L White BMW 1 Series. I love mine, had it since July last year, and like you say the £30 tax a year is nice as well.

Mines diesel and it's fairly economical. <ok>

Pretty much what I'm looking at <ok>
Would never get a white car though... would mean having to clean it like every weekend <laugh>

I'm looking forward to getting something where if I put my foot down in 5th, it doesn't take me 10 seconds to get from 60-70 <laugh>

Had it since July and haven't even had it cleaned yet <laugh>

It's stayed surprisingly clean so far <ok>

Let us know what you think when you test drive it, what Reg?

Will do. Hoping to do it later this week at same time getting mines valued for p/x, hoping to get couple grand for it.

It's 2012 so relatively new.

I need to proper clean mine inside and outside before I get anyone to value it... prob knock off about a grand with amount of dirty and dust in it <laugh>
