I've never seen a rival fan on there engaged in a discussion with reds that didn't end in abuse or a ban (or both), so I'm intrigued to see this convo, please link and I can prepare to be amazed.

Besides, my comment above was the gist of what you two were rambling on about but on neutral ground

I've looked about maybe 10 times and while I wouldn't want to join up, some of it is ok like the rival memorial thread. I think it has reached myth status with some people saying it's boring, too strict or whatever without looking too much, just by following what they've heard about it.

I honestly don't agree with it, but if someone creates it and puts the rules in the op around no rival posts etc then I'm sure the rest of the mods and I will do our best to moderate that thread.

I did say several times yesterday that they are welcome to give it a go. Also said the same about rules etc too but added that it wouldn't be moderated 24-7. I don't see the need for the poll (although we do love a good poll), just cretae it and see what happens. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it sinks. Simple.
In all honesty what was a throwaway comment has been blown up out of all proportion. jenners said it once on that other thread, I responded to him that when I mentioned it months ago I got jumped on with, go join rawk. and that was the end of it. IBWT named me and said go do a thread if you like, I said 'hell no' and Luv ran with it .... It's all those not in favour still chatting about it that's keeping it going. I think it's pretty obvious by now that neither me nor jenners are going to create one - we never were - jenners even said that even if there was one he probably wouldn't use it, let it drop.
[My rawk comments on here are just putting forward the idea that it isn't for Liverpool fans only so comparing an LFC fans only thread with rawk isn't the right comparison]

Without going back and looking, from memory only, it was the idea that it would change ... what was it 'the ethos of the forum' ... that got that response from jenners he said 'one thread, change the ethos of the forum. one thread' - not exact words used but that was the gist of it.

you said if we wanted a liverpool only forum go join rawk, how is one thread constitute being the same as rawk? why i said jesus christ, feel like saying it again ffs!

That was my comment. I think any sensible person looking for a Liverpool only forum wouldn't be wise coming here as that is not what this site is about. This site is a multliple fan and sports forum.
