You sir, have too much money. If I spent £140 on 1 ticket (without accounting for travel & hotel) my mrs would go ****ing mental

She'd go even more mental if I were to then tell her that the match was being held in a city famed for its involvement in the sex industry and that the game was only technically half the tie

The main problem now is i don't have the money lol, I booked my flights and hotels back when we got the draw. the plan was to go when the tickets were £50.. But when I found out bout they had been moved to 140.00 I was gona cancel... Sleazy Jet had other plans though and told me I couldn't cancel my flights.... Sooo in steps HSBC overdraft facility (not in it yet but they will be paying for most of the booze in Prague) If we don't win I'll be pissed off lol

Evening Red, pint o San Miguel please....

Hows it been in here? Alright? Anyone watching England? Johnson showing his class......... <doh> And I get the impression Poulsen doesn't like him... two tackles that I've seen that were quite hard and neither did the pat on the back or just a quick word.... Animosity....?

yo boys and girls, just dropped in for a pint and i was thinking.....what if Torres was sold this window last year the fans would have gone ballistic! H&G would have hunted down and shot! Rafa would be begging for the money but would he have got it? would H&G just trousered the cash? or more intrestingly if Torres had gone and H&G had bought Suarez and Carroll would the fans be acting the same to them as they are to Mr Henry? i think the answer would be no but its fun to reflect on....i'll have my pint now....cheers!

Ok let's say that did happen, then I would agree that H&G would be critisized (can't spell but I'm in a pub saying it so shh lol)

There prior **** ups would still be sitting in the back of our minds and selling Torres would've been to us another **** up.

With Henry it's different because all they've done is good things such as the new supporters commitee...? Did H&G ever think of this kind of move? They've appointed a manager who we all love and respect and they've so far kept us happy. They didn't over promise (like H&G) and they've (IMO) overachieved given how poor the start has been this season...

H&G were clueless really and I think that Rafa would not have got the cash I think it would've been used to service some debt and we'd probably have signed someone really **** on loan lol

    Anyway enjoy your pint ;)

I was prepared to give them credit (pardon the pun) for at least tapping into the club's potential income much more effectively than Parry ever managed. But they lived by the market and died by it. I think this example would be highly out-of-character for them but we could just as easily reflect on where we'd be if the credit crunch hadn't happened, they'd been able to build a stadium, continue income growth and pay off the debt.

In the same way, we could imagine what might've happened to Peter Sutcliffe if he hadn't heard the voices. :)

Seriously quiet atm on Not606! Wonder if it's because the server problems have driven people away... Anyway, I'll be having a pint I think.

Roberto, just had a look at the site stats and there's about 200 more active users now than there was a week ago, so now a total of around 5600. Just need more from the 606 lfc board but I think they will move when 606 finally bites the dust. (Have a feeling many are in denial and still think that it can be saved..)
