Cheers for the nice comments lads! I'll give it another day or so and see if any other members have any objections to me doing it. If everybody is O.K with me doing the match threads, i'll probably get a match thread up on a Thursday so both sets of fans can get some pre-match chat in!
No reason why you shouldn't. The pre-season ones you done were brilliant My only question is will you be watching the games? Streaming or TV doesn't really matter but if your doing the minute-by-minute updates it would help
What I normally do is get a radio stream which is doing the game and listen to that. It's slighty more difficult to describe the game but I can normally describe it quite well. Streams and TV are more difficult for me because I don't have Sky Sports so can't watch the game and streams normally slow my laptop down quite badly so I would struggle to keep a match thread updated as well. To be fair, when I did my match threads for the pre-season games, other people did put in decent updates quite quickly so I don't feel it would be an issue. I'm sure I can find a radio link and keep the match thread updated via that.
Fair enough. Just thought if you were using the live text commentary wouldn't be fair to make you re-write everything they said rather than take in what they said from a supporters perspective. Anyway, I'm sure no-one will object to you doing the threads because half of us are lazy and your brilliant at it anyway
The main thing is just setting the thread up and giving team information etc, other than that people will join in with updates anyway mate

Was doing some research and found out Raheem Sterling was born on the 8th of December 1994, making me older than him. Felt like a waste of space since
