Anyone been watching the Madrid v Madrid cup final? Real have dominated, hit the post 3 times but Athletico won 2-1 in extra time. Ronaldo got sent off for just catching a guy in the face when he was hacked down, then the Athletico keeper got hit on the head by a thrown object. I'm quite glad I don't have to watch Spanish football all the time, we think the play acting and diving is bad in this country... jesus I'd hate to be a defender in Spain. Only have to breathe near a player and they go down and roll around 7 times clutching their face
My lad played in a tournament in Spain last year at U14 level and they are the same at that age rolling around and acting up at every challenge, it was mad to see but the parents and coaches of the Spanish team were so shocked at our physical style of football and calling for cards all the time. It was interesting to see such a difference in football at such a young age.
So my car was totaled by some numpty on Tuesday and after dealing with the insurance(s) on the issue, I now have a fat check for down payment and am doing some car hunting this weekend! What to get, what to get..... choices.
