Holy cow! How old was that guy to be refereeing a game in 2019 and be old enough to be Milner's PE teacher? He had to be ancient... ... also that would be a massive conflict of interest refereeing a game being played by someone your knew as a child. That shouldn't have been allowed, even if, in this case he didn't show Milner any favouritism.
Maybe the opposite - perhaps Millie was a twat when he was younger as well so Moss was getting his own back.
Either way, I think referees should have to answer several questions such as: Have I ever lived within 40 miles of either of the clubs in a game? Have I ever supported either team, or does any family or close friend support the club? Have I ever had any sort of relationship with any player, or manager in either club outside of being their referee? Do I have any financial interests in either club? etc...etc... If they answer yes to any of the above, they have a conflict of interest and shouldn't be referee. A bit like how Judges are supposed to recuse themselves from cases where there is a conflict of interest or a chance for potential (intentional or not) bias.
I agree - I was just pointing out that any bias could have been against as much as for. I imagine Millie has made rather more enemies than friends during his career given his propensity for introducing himself to the opposition in a variety of rather unsubtle ways.

fair play. Got his move and used the cheap dentail and hair implants rates in turkey to turn his life around.
Now he has hair, he might be worth signing again. The hair alone has to be worth 20 points per season to any team that signs him.
Any of you lot 3D print? Got my first 3D printer earlier this week... Already 3D printed a bunch of crap like bird feeders, turned my daughter's favourite cat into a clock... Printed a guard to go above my PC over the power button so the cats can't step on the power button while I'm working and turn my PC off. Naturally I've printed a couple of statues of Dickbutt too. Curious if any other 3D printers on here. The printer is running almost non-stop at the moment.... Took to long to ship, I got too many ideas before it arrived.
Can’t say I have. I think in England it’s illegal to put a cat into a printer and turn it into a clock though
