I have no idea. I am in South Carolina. We're usually the more F'd up of the two Carolinas. Not heard this though.

Both Carolinas follow the pattern of very Republican, psycho-christianity rural areas and left leaning city areas. North Carolina has enough city dwellers to balance out the craziest crap from passing. South Carolina is mostly rural, so crazy far right Republicans handmaid's tale ideology runs amok.

I work in a city, and live in a county that is majority black, so I'm a little isolated from the maga brigade. I know they're out there, just rarely witness them first-hand very often.

Announcement: I have two hairy balls and a pink banana.



Hairy Balls is a plant in the milk weed family.
Pink Banana is a plant in the banana family that produces pink bananas... Although it probably won't stay warm long enough to fruit most years here. (Needs 10 continuous months without frost to form fruit... Which some years we get, some years we don't)

I had balls last year, but this is my first time with a pink banana. Exciting times... Hoping my banana will get big and strong and do well.

Can't remember if I posted pictures of (or mentioned) my hairy balls last year... Will have to take photos of my pink banana when it gets big.

I had to laugh seeing the 114F though... I need to move it into the shade.
