Just a little update on the situation with my brother because some of you have been pretty concerned. He's took going to jail pretty hard he's refusing all food, he's spitting and screaming at everyone and is threatening violence at anyone who comes near him. He's smeared the walls with faeces and is refusing to wear clothes. As a family we're pretty united in our decision not to play Monopoly with him anymore.

I find it funny. Gen X were called Gen "X" because the X represented the generation's desire not to be defined or labeled. And not only were they thus labeled, but their label has become the standard with future generations carrying on the naming scheme sequentially. (Gen Y being labelled Millenials, but after them "Z" and "Alpha" being a continuation in the naming pattern alphabetically). So being labeled as not liking labels and starting the whole standard of how later generations would be labeled. It makes me smile, but I'm easily amused.
I laugh, in an entirely mirthless fashion, at all the self-appointed arbiters of political correctness and social justice who end up doing exactly the same thing that they criticise others for - labelling everyone and everything and condemning all who don't accept their particular preferences as the immutable laws of nature. Every new generation (including my own) tried to make its mark by finding fault in the values of earlier ones in order to make itself feel morally superior.
Can anyone explain to me how attributing behaviours and character traits to entire generations is any less stupid than doing the same with entire races and religions? It's all ****ing nonsense.
I agree... and that everyone "changes" the year one generation becomes the next! I think there is some truth in that certain age people might have certain buying preferences based upon experiences growing up... but yeah the whole Gen X are lazy, and Millenials are entitled, and Gen Z are all bimbos is a bit stupid to me.
