Dno if anyone has virgin media for broadband… just signed up to them and had no end of issues and been absolutely atrocious that had to cancel and sign up for someone else instead.
When I had it a few years ago, it was brilliant. Really fast, never had an issue really but could never get hold of customer services. Tried to get it when I moved here, but after 3 months of waiting for them to connect, including 3 engineer visits and apparently 6 visits by the construction team to fix a collapsed duct up the road, I gave up and wet with BT as they also did fibre to the house, but from the pole over the road.
i've had it for a few months and has been excellent but the installation while fine in the end showed virgin had little idea what they were doing and they are getting right on my tits with constant calls to get me to buy more stuff .
Sounds very similar then. Signed up and was brilliant speeds, but they never actually asked if I had a virgin box on the wall during any of the set up as they had the house down as already having one when it didn’t. Engineer came to fit, that’s fine. Then tells me someone else needs to come to fit the outside backs to house.. that’s scheduled for 3 weeks time. On phone to customer service for 45 mins to try sort out and ended up wanting to just cancel as couldn’t deal with the wait.

I have most my stuff with sky and ended up just adding broadband as it’s easier and they use the Bt open reach connection apparently so makes it easier. But still bit of a delay but while was speaking to woman to try speed up getting broadband sorted she mentioned TV contracts was out of contract which I didn’t think was case as normally on top of that. Went through two one person to give some discounts and was like nah reckon can do a lot better, went through to next and ended up getting 30% discount on tv deals which effectively pays for the new broadband. So the virgin **** up probably ended up saving me a bit of money

Have BT super fantastic fibre broadband, or whatever they call it, never had a problem and it never buffers no matter how many people are using it. Costs a bloody fortune, mind!
Yeah they wanted to put mine up to about £40 for big standard so **** that went elsewhere. Went with sky for £26 a month plus £70 gift voucher
O pay £65 per month for Sky and BT sports plus phone and their medium broadband which gives me 270-280mbs download speed which is more than enough for us .
