Ah, gas chambers - always my favourite topic of conversation in the pub... Could we perhaps move on now?
people ought to really only jokes about electric chairs or lethal injections, as mentioning gas chambers in the context of American methods of execution only raises the image of nazis in European minds.
I think these words topics that just materialise are great Obviously, this topic is a bit dubious though
Don't get me wrong, I love the impromptu wit that springs from a typo, and I suppose it isn't any more tasteless than the ones about Nozzers basement, but the term gas chamber only conjures one image to me, and it's one I'd rather not have. Still, I'm no-one's nanny - so carry on.
I'm perfectly happy to talk about eating ice cream in basement torture chambers instead. I'm always willing to be accommodating to my fellow forumistas.
Happy Badger day BTW! Or What's left of it. One of the biggest holidays of the year! Badger day fact. Badgers can purr! (as can racoons, squirrels, hedgehogs, and, believe it or not, cows)
Definitely European Badgers can because I've heard them. I don't know if any other species (American, Asian, Ferret Badger, Japanese, Honey Badger, etc) can.... but the trivia I read that reminded me just said "Badgers". Europeans are the only social Badgers though... so wouldn't surprise me if others didn't.
