My point is that whatever the issue is with the squad, a break is neither the problem nor the solution.
That’s just not accurate though is it. That can only be proven once the break has taken place and we’ve played a few games. If we then go and win 10 in a row with a fully fit team, then clearly the break has had a positive impact and was a useful solution to some of our poor form.
But it can be part of the solution. a) diaz and jota injuries. the root cause might be letting 3 senrior men (though only 1 really used) go and bringing nunez and a kid in. But... the break does help b) players out of fitness/form (thiago for example) mabe a good triaing camp can sharpne these guys up c) kids not knowing systems. Nunez, carvalho etc. Agan 2 weeks good work can help them come on. I'd agree if you mean the solution is get players in that can actually run about the place but that's January's opportunity.
