It's all wwii hangover. And it is all dominance of the black sea. There's Russian sort of ethnicity or whatever transplanted into those areas the same as the area where prussia was. This is why Estonia jumped at nato asap and bans Russian language and stuff. They know they are first in line.

Bun is a generic term.Roll is a finger roll as far as I'm concerned,cob has to be crusty and a barm ( not mentioned) is larger and flatter ( not to be confused with an oven bottom) than that so it's bun or bap.Not many people use the term bap though. Ps Could even be a batch
clearly not a roll. its not been Rolled to make , if its round it isn't a roll. just isn't. Bun = cover all description. Cob is a basic description as a sub set made with more butter. , bap is a regional name for the same bloody thing . i'd say a cob should be larger and this is a bap
in fairness it does look like a barm, which is just a further subset of bapo. Barm is the scum off the top of the beer and is the yeast used in making cheap bread.
