I've read Trent saying it was his first squad number so he sticks with it. However, as he's not on Dribs' list he won't be playing for us this season. Who saw that coming?
The rats have decided that after all the litany of thing bo Jo has done, appointing a groper is the convenient last straw. Sanaa and javid resign as the whip groped men not women or somethingbas they've forgiven everything else.... Or they were just seeing out the by elections after the no confidence thing and were just waiting for the next inevitable scandal to tell him he is out.
I don't think traditional numbers mean much to many people any more. I don't know it would really help his marketability just to change from 27 to 10. Keita is wearing out famous #8, but I don't think it's making him any more in demand. Pepe Reina is the only one to dare try living up to the standards of the #25 shirt since Biscan vacated it. I think it will remain empty a lot longer... No one wants to be in his shadow.
It does help when you can put it on Uruguay shirts too. It really depends on whether you can trade mark dn10 like cr7 or whatever
Reckon RHC would have been very entertaining on Radio Merseyside's Hold yer plums, 'give us a clue Billy'
Nunez was also given 27 while mane was still at the club. Don’t think could have given him 10 as would have confirmed mane leaving.
I wonder if they could have just not given him a number until Mane left. Although that might have missed a number of excited "We just bought Darwin" shirt purchases.
Did wonder that, but maybe for marketing as you say needed to be done. Or maybe saving number 10 for next big signing
Rats who have ran down the anchor chain and are swimming away from the plague ship that is Boris Johnson. Cabinet ministers Rishi Sunak - chancellor Sajid Javid - health secretary Ministers Will Quince - minister for children and families Alex Chalk - solicitor general Ministerial aides Laura Trott - parliamentary private secretary (PPS) to the Transport secretary Jonathan Gullis - PPS to the Northern Ireland secretary Saqib Bhatti - PPS to the Health secretary Nicola Richards - PPS to the Department for Transport Virginia Crosbie - PPS at the Welsh office Others Bim Afolami - vice-chair of the Conservative Party Theo Clarke - trade envoy to Kenya Andrew Murrison - trade envoy to Morocco
looks like Javid has started a serious run for the leadership. he has spoken very clearly on boris' lack of integrity etc. Starmer got some one liners in "Z-list cast of nodding dogs" "sinking ships fleeing the rat".

as per gove, the spineless twat, has rammed in late having seen the blood bath and has told boris to go. I bet he wants a go at the big job but he's only missed the boat again. the big two that have started this are in prime position for leadership runs.
True, but probably significant given that after the two yesterday, there were no really big resignations, just loads of smaller ones. Gove is a big name and while he's not actually quit, it looks much less like Johnson can ride this out and more likely that he'll be forced to leave.
