Looks like we are getting Nunez, we got Carvalho and we won’t get Gavi or Tcouchemani ( or however he spells his name) Bellingham would be a good addition, who else is likely I wonder. Looks like Divok, Minamino, Ox and two or three squad players leaving, in addition to Mane and maybe Salah. Quite a Summer in prospect and a lot of changes. I am so glad we have the best manager in the Prem

I think both Salah and Bellingham are staying where they are for another season.

We won't spend big again this window if we secure Nunez

I think we might. I can see a £30-40m signing on a pacey midfielder. Klopp isn't messing around this window and if one of his top choices is available at value for money, I believe he will go all out to secure him.

£30-40m isn't big. Bellingham etc will be minimum £80m

Yeh I messed up with my reply <laugh> £30-40m definitely isn't big by today's standards. Tchouameni was the top target I think and not getting him, we put the money into a different position once it was clear that 2nd choice Bellingham wasn't leaving Dortmund just yet.

Is it really that big a change? It's a squad game and we can work these young buys into the team over time with 5 subs.

    Al
    Trent konate vvd robbo
    Henderson fabinho thaigo
    Salah nunez diaz

Jota vying for no 9 or lw and firmino there as well.

    Throw Elliott at rcm

Actually I see very little change at this point but improvement possible. The back 5 are mighty (if all fit and running) the front 4 are exciting with options.

It's that middle 3 where we need to improve as keita and milner are the cover and we all know its not good. One really good player in there and imo we improve again.

Mo Salah: "If I don't win the Ballon D'Or in 2022 I'll do everything to win the next one. I want my opponent to say to himself, 'Damn, him again!' My goal is that he doesn't have time to recover. He must feel threatened every moment for 90 minutes." [France Football]

So, in short, he's passing less...

Rumour has it Bellingham has a pretty low buy out clause which kicks in Jan 2023, so no one is willing to bid for him at present and pay £80m+. Will be very interesting Jan 2023 window if true.

Bellingham is saying so also. Not going anywhere. He will be looking for massive wages next year

Wages will be the real bidding war if they don't sell him. We all know we won't win that.

If true, there will be a host of clubs lining up and a bidding war in personal terms.

As we all (or should) know, we won't be held to ransom. If interested, we'll submit a offer and leave him to it.

    ouch but absolutely true.

I found the comments by anchelotti on this guy very telling. I believe he was quoted as he should be scoring 40 goals a season. It was a backhanded way of saying his ego acted like he was already doing that.

It was equally interesting to note that after anchelotti left rumours started i nengland that the man himself was on the blower to richarilson to line him up for a move.

Now the guy is headed at best for spurs in a fire sale. if he was that good the line would be round the block for him at the price mooted.

todya is flag day in the good old USA.

the day that the flag companies exploit the irrational fear of communism and make a killing.

Flag Manufacturers' Association of America estimates 150 million American flags sold every year! and yes there is a FMAA. its an actual thing

Think of your colonial cousins today lads.

one strong gust of wind and they could be all blown over such is the size of their overcompensating flags these days.

They make a killing every day! There's flags everywhere. I don't know anything about selling extra today. Flag day is pretty obscure, I had no idea it was going on.today. It's not really made a big deal about. Once every few years I hear it mentioned but its not really "celebrated".
