wouldn't a tonne of stones be cheap enough? I mean like it depends on how fancy i suppose but it'd be <100 up to <4 or 500 depending no?

I actually need three tonne but even one isn't cheap when you've been on furlough for over a year!

Only need the one tonne to finish the back. Need a tonne on the side if house and another tonne for front. Will just do them one at a time as and when I can afford it. Doesn't help that the washer and one of the freezers (I have two) have packed up too :(

Record 110,000 complaints for the bbc for going over the top showing the same show on both channels during the week about something or other.

Was funny. People complained that Channel 4 were showing the usual programming when Bbc1 bbc2 and itv were all showing stuff about Phil.

Did feel like showing exactly same programme on bbc1 and 2 was bit pointless

I think it was just a smidge dramatic of the back as I can't recall that either Ms Spencer got wall to wall coverage ( though Elton job sobbing over a candelabra was cheese) nor did the mother in law was the dowager. I do recall certain pomp and ceremony when they stood in state and that on that occasion but it wasn't shut everything off and get the black suits out stuff

I think that for Royal watchers and historians he was seen as more important than any of those others, as he was a modernising influence on the British Monarchy.
I didn't watch any of it, tbh. -I'm neither for nor against the concept of Royalty, they're just part of the furniture as far as I'm concerned.
I suppose the Beeb is a more sober antidote to the shrillness of the gutter press, whose journalistic onanism over the death of Diana was excruciating. I swear there was a picture of her on the front of the Express every day for at least 5 years after she died.

The BBC have been under fire for a while now in terms of their jaundiced anti-British views. The latest being the breakfast presenters mocking and laughing at that MP for having a flag and a picture of the Queen in his living room (on a zoom call).

Trying to tip the balance slightly maybe ??

Those Tory twats with flags draped in front of their curtains are totally pathetic . I am quite patriotic but this has nothing to do with patriotism it is just a shoddy attempt to wrap the flag round a political party in a desperate and shoddy act of jingoism which should be mocked at every opportunity .

phew i feel better after that little rant .

yep by everyone as it is clearly a ridiculous stunt where just before they do a zoom call they stick a flag supplied by party HQ in their front room , kitchen , bog whichebver they are sitting .
I would probably agree the News broadcast shouldn't .

The whole narrative surrounding the union jack is getting ridiculous. The Twitterati calling for boycotts over union flags on supermarket food packaging is unbelievably childish. British flag on British produced food ...... shocker.
