He booked a holiday without sorting out how he was getting back and for the airport, sorted it with his Mum and made half arsed assumptions that I now have to sort out.
it will be him if Luv decides "**** it ,if you're older enough to book your own holiday you are old enough to make your own travel arrangements home from the airport" and sits back puts his feet up and pours a beer .
Need to renew my phone contract at the end of this month and they've also told me I can upgrade my phone to any handset for free. Thinking about either getting an iPhone XS, iPhone 11 or 11 pro or a Huawei P30. Just weighing up the contract prices and offerings per month before I decide. Contracts for iPhones are just such a blatant rip off, same amounts of data and privileges as any other phone but you have to pay 2-3 times more per month just because it's apple. I currently have an iPhone 7plus which still works pretty well and isn't in bad shape so I was also thinking about keeping it and going sim only but that free handset upgrade is pulling at me
Yeah the deals on those Huawei phones are much more attractive and the handsets are very nice, especially with the Leica cameras on some of them. Guess I'm just used to having an iPhone, it's what I've always had so changing to Android would be interesting in one way or another
I also don't know why these companies are still using unlimited calls and texts as some sort of amazing selling point these days either, that's pretty much standard with most contracts and texting is almost redundant anyway with the likes of WhatsApp. Data is another issue, that's still a big selling point if they'll give you a lot for not many pounds
I actually can't even be bothered with a phone anymore, I really don't like them very much anyway and I'm certain everyone's being spied on or listened to through them. If it was possible to live without one I would. It would be interesting to try. But their prevalence has made certain tech stuff indispensable to normal life now if you want to be able to function as smoothly as possible in the world, which I'm resentful of
I use a launcher so that it looks good and the OS makes more sense. This is the joy of Android if you like things your way. I'll screenshot.
Cheers, I actually had to google what a launcher was I've heard that it's better than iOS and more customisable once you've got your head around it
So that's all swiping left and right on the main screen, I don't have to leave that screen for anything.
Yeah I can see how it's sort of layered which is nice. Thanks a lot. I'm tempted to get an Android one just to see what it's all about and play around with something different, can always sell it I guess if I don't like it
