I agree with you - but when a large body of opinion considers darts a sport we might as well all go home and watch Flat-Earth videos.

 

I can see both sides of the argument with darts. There is no athletic ability being exhibited but then archery is an Olympic sport, as is shooting, where people actually lie down. These require similar skills, so why shouldn't darts be considered sport? Is it because they're portly? Because sumo wrestlers aren't on the slim side and that's a sport. Of course darts practitioners do it no justice by consuming copious amounts of alcohol during a match. So I'd say when it's in an arena, it's a sport; when it's in a pub, it's a game. And if they're serving beer in an arena, that's a pub.

 

Wednesday... damaged my thumb at footy. Either damaged ligaments/tendons or fractured it, either way I'm not getting or looked at.

Friday... Karate night, this will be fun

It's actually a combination of Sports Karate, Taekwondo and Kickboxing.

If we focus on Sports Karate I'll be suffering.

If we focus on Kickboxing I'll be uncomfortable but will manage.

We won't be doing any Taekwondo bits tonight.

He was on suicide watch but he was removed from it - requiring approval of prison warden and prison psychologist - and his cellmate, who was there because he was on suicide watch, was transferred.

The guards were doing a lot of overtime that week, so half-hourly checks weren't done.

He had alleged dirt on Trump, Clinton, Prince Andrew and many other powerful people.

Why kill himself if he had dirt to leverage protection?

Data shows people are seven times more likely to commit suicide while awaiting trial, as Epstein was, than after being convicted.

8% of suicides occur while prisoners were on suicide watch.

Ironically, he was also facing charges of conspiracy.

I imagine it's easier to have somebody killed in prison than it is to become president. And even easier to have somebody left to kill themselves, especially when it's a paedo.

 

This trend of idiots running onto football pitches needs to stop sharpish!!! It's only a matter of time before someone does it at Chelsea and gets Man of the Match!!
