Solicitors are ****ing dickheads, and no I'm not sorry to any solicitors on here! Remortgage was completed on Friday but I'm still bloody waiting for my surplus funds to be paid to me. It's a week tomorrow ffs. Every day that passes costs me money and I want a new bloody car you bastards!!!
If they hold back funds for a full week for every client, how much extra interest would that generate over a year? I know interest rates are **** but that's going to add up. Definitely intentional imo
when we bought our present house i noticed the solicitor was filling a form in wrongly , though upside down i could tell she was ticking boxes which weren't aligned to the questions , but when i pointed this out she told me to sign and they would correct it later even worse she got the hump when i pointed out no way on gods earth was i signing a legal document before it had been fully completed. Years ago i worked for the DHSS and reported 3 local firms of solicitors for holding and signing order books made out too their clients when they did not hold Power of attorney.**** all happened though.
Still not had a penny. Second day running they've promised it'll be in my account by end of play (6pm). Got a alarm set on my phone for 5.40pm. Will be ringing them again if it's not in. Taking the piss!
