I'm not a Londoner either I thought it was good and enabled a few people to let off steam. Don't think anyone actually left as a result in the end either
It was really dull.. Child like Playground banter on the part of Christian. . I prefer subtle piss taking, sarcasm or when all else fails swear a lot and threaten them Still makes me laugh when I remember winding baz up. I emailed him a picture of the inside of his flat think it freaked him out rather a lot.
Because NOF and Swarbs told him he was out of order I felt bad spamming their board so I stopped. He is one of those few people who get to me because he is in fact a complete ****.
Poor little Fistian, he does deserve it though, he reminds me of Baz because Baz was obsessed with United just as much as Fistian is obsessed with us!
I liked baz. He could take a wind up. He took everything I threw at him. He was ok, shouldn't have been banned. Kpr was a prick though. Devoid of personality and incapable of banter.
Banter's fine, but sometimes a thread just descends into a slanging match which, although it might be fun on one level, prevents us from actually discussing anything. KPR was a curiosity, occasionally his knowledge and love of the game showed through, but his all-consuming hatred of Utd turned everything he touched into a ****fest.
Small northern industrial town- population probably only about 100k. Liverpool 15- 20 miles in one direction, Manchester about the same in the other. Bolton also nearby. Just doesn't have the fan base. Also, it's a big rugby area.
I have friends in Wigan so go often, the majority of people either support us or man utd. A lot of the home fans are there to see a PL game but support another team.
