Is it hospital you work for? Think vaguely remember you saying that in the past.

Does seem a stupid move to bring in people especially if you can work from home. It’s only going to be a decade or so before actually offices become redundant in a lot of industries anyway, just a huge overhead cost that isn’t needed.

Youd think given it’s America the land of lawsuits that company’s would want to risk as little as possible as well!

I could, although it would probably sound suspicious my car being broken down on the day I had requested to be off. <laugh>

I normally like the place I work but when we have freezing rain and icy roads ... Or when the city was shut down with floods and I had to do a huge detour to find a bridge over the river that wasn't flooded to get to work... Or hurricanes passing over and they expect me to go in it annoys me.

I get it, a hospital can't close down when the weather is bad, but there should be a difference between office staff who don't have to be there every day and nurses/doctors... Especially if, like my case I was already scheduled to be off. I think it's all for show. They don't want anyone taking time off or people who need to be there will try and weasel out of being there.

It's a hospital yeah... It can't close... But they don't need me coming in writing software during a hurricane.

When I went to see him and Crazy Horse at the Echo Arena, that was the encore. It went on for 25 minutes and then he shredded his guitar strings <laugh> They were on for 2.5 hours solid <ok>

Well I think it’s my back that’s the problem, but my hamstring really tight which I think is having knock on affect to my knee because now that’s painful behind the knee as well.

God knows whats actuwlly wrong though

Sounds like a lot of referred pain going on there. I'd go to an osteopath rather than a physio, or both <ok>

This "hurricane" was worse than the last one even if it passed over Florida and Georgia before getting here instead of landing on the coast.

Still wasn't too bad though. One flooded interstate intersection blocked off and power keeps flickering... But still not too bad where I am.

    usually it's the opposite.

back pain coning from over used muscles compensating from wherever original injury is.

Could be either way. Your back takes the strain for lower body injuries but if the back pain came first, it affects the way you walk and carry yourself generally so knees and thighs can be overworked.

Anyway, what was luv's diagnosis. Drops in to say he might be on his last legs and doesn't come back to reveal what the doc said. Shouldn't we be worried? @luvgonzo hope all's well <ok>
