I do think some are harsh I thought that was clear but it's not down to me to ask for them to be lifted as others may not agree. I'm not worried about 6D I just think he missed my point and thought I had an agenda. My OP on the thread is clear and some of my comments state that I'm not so sure a lift of bans is a good idea.
Btw, for those who are on twitter...... JOey Barton would make a terrible scout, how he can say Neymar and to say THIAGO SILVA are overrated it beyong me. Thiago Silva is easily top 5 in the world right now at CB. unreal some of the **** that comes out of his mouth, and you know he taks it as word too.
I seem to have opened a can of worms with that thread and I feel that I may live to regret it. I was just thinking that the whole ban thing was getting out of hand and just thought I'd ask a question but it seems now that I may have pissed Some people off and I quite like some of those people. I hope a bit of mutual respect can be found when posting on each other boards from now on.
Somehow managed to get myself into **** too. Completely forgot I'd requested for Windy Miller to be banned
Anything I am getting annoyed with is trying to get Liverpool footy threads going in all shapes and forms and **** ALL RESPONSE especially from many who want that type of threads on our board. Instead the ban thread is bigger and has more replies in a day that almost the entire Official summer signing thread, and has more views and replies than most of the threads combined. One of the things many posters wanted and that I want new posters to see yet we can't put effort into that.
Good shout. I've not been on as much since last week due to a heavy weekend and a equally heavy hangover! Got a busy week ahead too but will try to contribute as much as I can
IF there is a topic that people actually want to discuss then they will take the time and effort to do so. At the moment there is little actually going on to discuss in much detail - at least as far as LFC is concrened. However, the fact that people and actually reading and contributing to a thread that is of importance to them should be celebrated and not derided. At least it shows that posters are interested in maintaining a board on which informative threads can be hosted without being hijacked.
To be fair Dave, Bluff has a point here. The whole ban thread is about the issue of maintaining a board on which informative threads can be posted...and yet the informative threads are getting much less attention than the ban thread The thread about Liverpools best defence of modern times was excellent and yet gets far less interest than the ban thread (I hold my hands up as being as guilty as any one for that) and that can be bloody frustrating when you go to the effort of doing the kind of thread we all say we are here for. I did a great thread (even if I do say so myself) about Carra a few months ago, took me ages, put about 6 vids on of various things and it got an almighty 3 replies....meanwhile my MFG thread which was done when fully pissed got me about 14 pages of a ****storm I really didn't intend. Hence I just don't bother putting effort into creating threads anymore.
Agreed, there's some good threads about Coutinho, Hendo and our defence. And all the people who say they want less derailing/more football talk would rather talk about United anyway.. it's always been like that.
