You're not wrong there. I stopped reading picture books a long time ago. I used to hang out on a forum where if you posted an emoticon (or emoji as the kidz have decided to call it these days), it was automatically changed to text. Smileys changed to "I am feeling gay today." That'd put a stop to it. You're wrong there. One example does not represent Feminism, any more than one nutter represents fans. Then again, I've read some feminist books, so maybe I'm just biased. Or informed. Either/or. Neither does generalising Feminism according to one example. It's a bit like people using "political correctness gone mad," as a generic get-out-of-jail-without-having-any-actual-data card. No proof that corporal punishment at school would create a generation of criminals - in fact, crime went down - but "we got hit at school and it didn't do us any harm. And I'll beat the crap out of anybody who says it did."
