    So being a good son I'm making the following:

    10 hour slow roast shoulder of pork with of course crackling. .. plenty of cider etc etc


    Fennel and potato gratin.

    Asparagus

    Strawberry souffle with home made vanilla ice cream and marinated strawberries (mint and balsamic)


    Lots of fizzy stuff in a glass....

    As my son is moving house this weekend, as well running stuff around and putting up curtain poles, he has asked me to cook dinner. Main course is lamb shanks cooked in a Thai red curry and coconut milk, served on a bed of rice. The best thing about it is you can chuck in some halved baby potatoes with the lamb and it all cooks in one pot. Saving the environment as well!!! Especially the poor badgers<badger><badger><badger><badger><badger>
